Play like champ is a game designed to be used as a marketing tool for supermarkets. There are cards for some of the most popular players that you could get with x amount of groceries. You could scan the cards and then you would increase your abilities in the game (shooting power, curve power, drop power). By unlocking special players you get minigames where you could make use of those abilities to try and score in every scenario.
This game was released in Russia.
We worked on this game in a team of 3 dedicated developers, 1 dedicated artist and a dedicated UI-designer. I created various thing in this game:
- Shooting in the minigame
- Keeper logic in the minigame
- Recording/replaying in the minigame
- AR Scanning
- Player kit shaders to have patterns/colors
- Ball physics(they are custom instead of Unity3D)
